You feel a strong connection to the natural world.
Whether the natural environment is a place where you work, play, create, relax, research or wonder, you want to contribute to protecting the environment and making the world a better place.
Perhaps you are feeling stuck in your current job and you are ready for a change, but you don’t know what you want to do next. It’s so frustrating!
You have a sneaking suspicion that you could achieve so much more, make so much more of a difference to the world, if only you knew what you really wanted to do next.
Or you might have the opposite problem – you are very creative and there are so many things you would like to do, you can’t find time for them all!
You wish you could take all of your interests, skills and talents, even the ones you don’t currently use at work, and use them to make a difference.
Or perhaps you have had enough of working hard, you’d like to work less, consume less, enjoy life more.
Spend more time with your family, in the garden, on your bike, doing voluntary work, in the woods, running up hills, travelling the world…
You might want to live a more sustainable, creative or alternative lifestyle. Walk your own path, even if right now you feel like you are living someone else’s version of a life.
You want change, but you wonder if it is possible. You know there is a better way to live your life, but you are not sure how to achieve it.
It is possible to create the life that you want!
It is possible to reconnect with your passions, figure out the change you want to make in the world, get a new career, rediscover your love for what you do now, get a promotion, downshift, live on a smallholding, take a year out. write that novel, be your own boss…whatever you want to do.
It can be difficult to work it all out on your own, to get clear about what you really want and to have the courage to make changes, which is where I can help.
Hello! I’m Sarah Wiseman. I am a Certified Professional Coach and I also have over 25 years’ experience working in the environment sector.
I haven’t had a smooth or traditional career path, for years I wondered how to create a life that combines creativity, spending time outdoors, doing something worthwhile and not having to work in an open plan office looking at a computer all day.
I found that hard to do within the confines of a permanent full-time job.
Now I coach clients in the areas of finding direction, career and creativity, and I work part time on a project to create a long-distance footpath around the coast of England.
I love working with people to help them figure out what they want to do next, and supporting them as they make that change. I particularly enjoy working with people who care about the natural world, and want to do something to protect it.
What my previous clients say
I can’t recommend Sarah’s coaching highly enough. I had a really wide range of ideas and options that I wanted to explore and through Sarah’s help I have made significant progress on all the areas I wanted to investigate. Sarah is a fantastic listener who can really help you get to some of the key things you need to address through asking insightful questions and providing a wide range of relevant tools and information. Through Sarah’s help I have been able to get some clarity on the options I have and set out actions that will really help me develop my ideas. I will take the tools and lessons from Sarah’s coaching and continue to use and build on them. Sarah provides a warm and relaxed atmosphere where anything can be discussed and explored and I really appreciated the openness and honesty of her approach. I can’t thank Sarah enough for her help, I really loved our sessions.
– Sarah Taylor, UK
After 20 years in the same job I was considering a career change but was uncertain as it would mean a considerable lifestyle change. The aim of my coaching sessions with Sarah was to decide whether I really wanted to embark on this new avenue. I found the sessions incredibly helpful in clarifying my feelings towards my old and my potential new career. Sarah’s strength was in listening, making me think, being completely non-judgmental and suggesting some actions I could take to help me move my decision-making process forward. I felt very comfortable talking to her and confiding in her. I did end up going for my career change and am loving it!
– Corrie, Student Nurse, UK
Working with Sarah enabled me to gain clarity on the direction I wanted to take my business, as well as creating an action plan to get from where I was to where I wanted to be. Sarah’s insightful questions allowed me to really think through the many aspects of starting a new endeavor, and to question my perceived challenges. She is patient, present, and created a truly supportive space during our sessions together.
– Heather Howland, Purposeful Living Coach, USA
I have always struggled to make time for my creative work as I get caught up doing too many other things. During coaching I found Sarah very supportive and encouraging; she helped me realize what is important to me so that I can focus on building a regular creative practice.
